====================================What are some filling vegetarian recipes?
Most dieticians would say that several small healthy meals a day is better than three full ones, so you're not really doing anything wrong. You can make vegetarian pastas that are very filling. Use whole wheat pasta, Make sure you use good, whole grain bread because your body needs the fiber and you can make some very filling veggie sandwiches. String cheese is a good snack. You won't get healthier by eliminating foods that are good for you. There's nothing wrong with protein and good carbs in sensible amounts. If you're hungry all the time, your body is telling you something.
I make vegetable soup to help with getting my veges in as well as to fill me up when I get hungry between meals. Mine is a very simple recipe:
1 1/2 boxes organic chicken or vegetable broth
2 large zucchini, sliced on the diagonal and cut in half
1/2 yellow or red onion, peeled and coarsely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced or chopped
3 carrots, sliced on the diagonal
1 15 oz can organic diced tomatos
1/2 cup chopped celery
1-2 yellow squash
2 T fresh Thyme leaves
1 T Italian herbs
1 T kosher salt
1 tsp fresh ground pepper
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (opt.)
1/2 cup shredded good parmesan cheese
2 T olive oil
Heat oil in stock pot and saute onion, garlic, celery and carrots for 5 minutes. Add all remaining ingrediants except for cheese and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 30-45 minutes, or until veges are fork tender but still crisp. Adjust seasonings to taste and add cheese. Serve with additional cheese if desired.
This is good with a good crusty bread, smoked cheese, and possibly some soy chicken patties.
theirs no such thing any one who says difrently is a liar.....jk
im not a fan of vegitarian recipies or vegitarians in general instead of using meat like pork beef and stuff along those lines replace it with ground turkey
ground turkey tremendously healthier
DO NOT CUT CARBS LOW CARB DIETS ONLY WORK TEMPORARILY their are no long term low carb diets and the weight you lose is mostly water weight
instead of white use whole wheat its alot better for you whole wheat well expand in your stomach and help combat cravings
ANOTHER IMPORTANT THING IF YOUR HUNGREY ALOT THIS VERRY WELL MAY BE IT HIGH FRUCTOSE CORNSYRUP CHECK EVERYTHING YOU EAR FOR IT ALLWAYS high fructose corn syrup adds fat to your body while making your brain want to eat more it can make a big diffrence
so in short dont give up meat and carbs as a matter in fact giving up carbs is really un healthy
