I cannot digest fats, and I am hunting for some awesome vegatarian recipes.Do you know of any good vegetarian recipes? I ahve a gallbladder problem, so i cannot have anything fatty!!!!?
Curried Rice: Chop 10 cups of your favorite vegetables (frozen can also be used) and onion and pan fry with some water (if not frozen) with salt, pepper, garlic and a teaspoon of curry powder. After 5 mintues, add in 1 can of chopped tomatoes (with sauce). Once the vegetables are cooked to your desired softness (I usually cook for 15 mintues), stir in cooked rice and cook for addtional 2 mintues. Let sit for 5-10 minutes before serving. This dish is not only fat free, but it makes many servings, isvery healthy, and cheap to make.Do you know of any good vegetarian recipes? I eat tofu, tofu stirfry,made with Pam. I also eat tons of vegie soup and bean soups, my favorite is potatoe soup. Beans are also good. Bannas, melons, mango and plums pears too work well.
I had a similar problem and found that cutting out almost everything for a while really helped . . . I ate bananas and crackers for months, it seems, but it seemed to kind of reset my system and as I introduced other foods back into my routine, I was fine . . . even fish but I've not had any meat again since I started having the problems.
Just boil or steam any veggies add indian spices and eat it.
